2025 World Risk and Insurance Economics Congress (WRIEC)

The World Risk and Insurance Economics Congress (the "World Congress") took place from August 3-7, 2025, in Calgary, Canada.

The event stimulated corporate awareness and interest in risk-related research, and provided a forum -- a joint conference held once every five years -- for networking among academics and industry and government professionals worldwide. The World Congress is open to everyone who shares an interest in promoting education and research in the broad areas of risk and insurance.

The American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA), in partnership with the Asia-Pacific Risk and Insurance Association (APRIA), European Group of Risk and Insurance Economists (EGRIE), and the Geneva Association, jointly organized the event.
